Nominate a Hero: Swickard Anchorage is proud to honor the incredible service of our country’s veterans, active armed forces members, and first responders. We’re excited to award a new Chevy Silverado 1500 truck to an individual right here in Alaska. Help us in our search to find one individual in Alaska to recognize and drive the truck he/she always dreamed of.
Nominate your veteran, active military, or first responder hero by visiting our website or Facebook page from November 11 to December 31, 2023 to share their inspiring story, along with a photo. A panel of judges will carefully select five (5) photo story entries based on criteria such as years of service and acts of bravery. These finalists will then enter a random drawing, and one extraordinary hero will win the keys to a brand-new Chevy Silverado 1500 truck on January 20, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS:
Open to legal residents of Alaska, aged 21 and above, possessing a valid Alaska Driver’s License.
Nominees must be active military personnel, active first responders, or hold official Veteran’s status.
Proof of eligibility, including active military ID or veteran’s status, may be required.
The chosen recipient must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Alaska driver's license, provide proof of active military or first responder ID or veteran’s status, and present evidence of insurance. The recipient selected is responsible for all obligations, taxes and expenses, including, but not limited to, sales tax, luxury tax, destination charges, registration, title and license fees, insurance, tax and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering or using the vehicle.
NO PUCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
By participating in this Search, entrants and nominees agree to have their names, photographs, voices, biographical information, likenesses, and entry submissions (including photographs) used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this search or future similar campaigns without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.
By participating in this Search, each entrant and nominee agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of sponsor, and hereby releases, indemnifies and holds harmless the sponsor, and their respective affiliates, successors, and assigns, and all of their officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, and shareholders, from any liability, claims, demands, judgments, proceedings, causes of action (including negligence), lawsuits, injuries, death, costs, expenses or damages, due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person or property of any kind, arising from, resulting from, or in connection with the Search.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with this Search shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. All disputes arising out of or relating to any prize shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within The Third Judicial District, Alaska. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
